First impressions matter. After reading the other reviews, my wife and I decided to try Daddy-O's during our vacation to MN. When we walked in, only half the tables had customers at them. The other half were covered with dirty dishes. There was not a single clean table in the entire place. We had to bring it to someone's (manager?) attention so that they could clean one off so we could sit and eat. Of course, cleaning the table only meant taking the dirty plates off and wiping it down with a sopping wet towel, so it was still very wet. We had to ask to get some napkins to dry it off. Service was not great. They were busy, so I try and cut them a little slack, but having been a waiter there are some basic do's and don'ts. One of the big don'ts for me is don't walk past your table that was just sat and completely ignore them. A quick "Hey, glad you're here, we're a little busy so give me just a second and I'll come back to take care of you" takes almost no time and goes a long way in making customers happier. We then also had to flag our waitress down anytime we needed anything (mustard, ketchup, drink refills, etc. I actually just got up and grabbed one of the ketchup bottles from another table since ours was empty.) The food was ok, but nothing special. A step above Burger King and McDonalds, but on par with places like Culver's or Whataburger. Fries were pretty much the same. I was surprised to find the burgers came with no trimmings, but I'm not sure if that's just a regional thing. So, overall, I was unimpressed. Definitely will not be on our list of places to go back to next time we're in the area.

A-OK. It's your typical greasy, unhealthy food with a high school staff at your service. Based on the other Yelp Reviews I think it's safe to say that you don't stop in for the food. It's a cute, local hangout with fun, vintage 50's-60's style decor. Came here with my mom on a Tuesday evening. Quiet, seat yourself, friendly staff, and quick service. My mom order a burger; I Ordered the quesadillas. They come with sour cream and salsa on the side; quite a plentiful portion as well but if you want some real, authentic Mexican food I would recommend Mucho Loco 5 minutes away, off of 169. We split a chocolate malt for dessert which was pretty tasty I must say. Prices are reasonable for what you get. My recommendation: Stop in for a malt/shake on a relaxing afternoon/evening.

They serve a hamburger that is juicy and full of flavor! The French fries are crisp and taste like a potato ... fresh and not frozen. The decor is a throwback to the 50's. Their malts are just the right viscosity (thick but not so thick that you can't pull it through the straw.) One of my top favorites if I want a great burger.

Living not far from the restaurant we have walked by here many times, and often stopped in for a delicious ice cream cone. We decided to give this place a try and we were very pleased. The decor is 50's style and the food is good ole American food. Simple burger and fries with great portion size at a great price. I would recommend this restaurant and will eat here again and again.

Good old fashioned ice cream and attentive, friendly staff make this THE place to go for ice cream! Cheap prices and a fun atmosphere! Check out the splash pad down the street when you go!

Their burgers, wraps, malts, and ice cream are really good! This past time I got their nacho platter and it was absolutely disgusting. The meat on there tasted like it came straight from the dog or cat food bowl, I couldn't even eat it. Service is okay but they don't even ask you how everything tastes or ask if you're needing anything. Make sure to stay clear of the owner, he is very intense when they are busy and doesn't seem very nice. Oh, and beware the hours they list on their website they are not accurate. They'll closed down when they feel like it. On a positive note they have a cool Elvis 50's vibe to the place but over all this restaurant can be hit or miss!

Bacon cheese burger, fries and a shake Nirvana. I like to go here when I have my old hotrod out. Their Elvis Decorum brings you back to the era. The walls have classic authentic signs and the Elvis in front is great for taking pictures. It is worth the stop on Highway 10 or 169.
